  • Responsibilities

    Job Summary:

     

    Provide maintenance for ATM's, coin and card machines plus related peripherals at any Michigan First Credit Union location.  Additionally, provide scheduled cleanings and other basic maintenance and training. This position requires the use of basic hand tools, limited parts and a general understanding of PC, PC peripherals and network connectivity.  Assist team members at all levels to ensure quality member service on a consistent basis.  Position will also monitor equipment and place calls accordingly for hardware issues. 

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Basic troubleshooting skills
    • Monitors ATM, Card Printer and Coin Machine networks to ensure 24x7 uptime.  If issues arise, takes the lead on seeking immediate remediation results in addition to following all internal communication protocols
    • Follow access procedures for entering and exiting Michigan First Credit union locations 
    • Assists vendors and other Credit Union team members to identify and implement solutions to issues that impact 100% uptime. 
    • Works as part of the Technology Solutions team to troubleshoot and communicates issues related to all other Technology Solutions products and access channels.   
    • Ensures that Credit Union procedures and job tools related to Technology Solutions are updated regularly and made available as a resource and reference for other team members. 
    • Demonstrates ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels.
    • Completes equipment cleanings on time.
    • Possesses a safe driving record
    • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision 
    • Is an advocate of the Michigan First culture, supporting diversity, philosophy and other credit union initiatives. Utilizes EMEC (Every Member’s Experience Counts) in day-to-day responsibilities when communicating with members and ream members.  Fosters a positive image of Michigan First via professional representation in all contacts and complies with all of Michigan First’s mission and vision goals. Reflects each of the credit union’s “Isms” in daily job performance. Learns and utilizes the EMEC way (Every Member’s Experience Counts) in day-to-day responsibilities when communicating with members and team members.

    Qualifications:

     

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
    • Two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and up to date car insurance.
    • Shifts will include nights, weekends or holidays. 
    • Must have experience working with ATM. 
    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
    • Ability to write simple correspondence. 
    • Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to members, team leader, and other team members of the organization. 
    • Ability to operate a personal computer and other standard office equipment such as fax machine, photocopier, typewriter, telephone and laser printer. 
    • Spreadsheet application knowledge is required. 
    • Above average interpersonal skills to represent the Credit Union in a positive and courteous manner when dealing with members and all levels of team members. 
    • Strong listening skills to effectively determine member needs and resolve member and team member problems.
      Must have reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement available for personal vehicle use).
